Do we need to read the Bible everyday?
“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17; NRSV)
“Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation—if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.” (1 Peter 2:2-3; NRSV)
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” (Luke 21:33; NRSV)
We encourage you to read the Bible everyday starting from today. You may find it difficult to grasp some of the principles, but as time goes by and with the guidance of the Spirit, you will love reading the Bible. It is because the Bible is just like a torch giving out light in the darkness, letting us see clearly the path ahead.
